Villains: The Hero of their own Story
Presenters: Jennifer Bokal

We’ve all read books where the villain or antagonist is evil for the sake of being bad.

They’re nobody to fear or revile. But when we look at the antagonist in a different light: as someone who sees themselves as the hero, they become more complex. In this session, we will look at the different types and villains. We will also explore the tools used to create a compelling backstory that puts them on the wrong side of the good-guy/bad-guy divide.
